Understand and record apps and flows components
When transferring your apps and flows to the nhs.net environment, there will be components utilised in your app and/or flow that you will need to be recreated or re-configured in the new environment. You should understand and record these before completing the transition. If you have apps and flows in different Power Platform environments, repeat these steps for them as well.
Connections, Custom Connectors and Gateways – Power Apps:
- Step 1: Login to https://make.powerapps.com in your current environment using your legacy account.
- Step 2: In the Navigation pane on the left-hand side of the screen, select ‘More’, then ‘Discover all’.

- Step 3: Search for ‘Connections’, ‘Custom connectors’ and ‘Gateways’ under Data and Data Management. Select each and take a record of all components which will need to be replicated in the nhs.net environment.

Connections, Custom Connectors and Gateways – Power Automate:
- Step 1: Login to https://make.powerautomate.com in your current environment using your legacy account.
- Step 2: In the Navigation pane on the left-hand side of the screen, select ‘More’, then ‘Discover all’.

- Step 3: Search for ‘Connections’, ‘Custom connectors’ and ‘Gateways’ under Data. Select each and take a record of all components which will need to be replicated in the nhs.net environment.

Custom Dataverse tables
- Step 1: Login to https://make.powerapps.com in your current environment using your legacy account.
- Step 2: In the Navigation pane on the left-hand side of the screen, select ‘Tables’.

- Step 3: Select ‘Custom’. If you have any Custom Dataverse tables, they will be displayed in a list. Determine which ones you would like to transfer to the nhs.net environment.

Check for nhs.net settings
The settings of your legacy environment is likely to be different than the ones in the nhs.net environment. It is important to take time to understand the differences.
DLP Policies
Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies act as guardrails to help prevent you from unintentionally exposing data. The DLP policies in your legacy environment is likely to be different than the ones in the nhs.net environment.
Consult the nhs.net guidance about Power Platform DLP to understand what connectors are allowed and your local IT team need to do if you need a new DLP policy.
