How to enable your NHS.net account

After receiving the email containing your new NHS.net email address and temporary password, follow the instructions below to enable the account and set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).

Section 1: For NHSmail Portal Users Only

This option is for users whose organisation continues to use the NHSmail Portal.

1.2 Setting up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for your NHS.net account using NHSmail Portal

Follow the guidance to complete your Multi‑Factor Authentication (MFA) and accept the Acceptable Use Policy (AUP).

This option is for users whose organisation uses NHS.net Connect.
